Who We Are

By day, we’re teachers, students, writers, homemakers, nurses, accountants, doctors, attorneys, administrative assistants - you name it! But when we come together, we’re the award-winning Carolina Harmony Chorus.

We are proud members of Sweet Adelines International - Region 14, singing four-part a cappella harmony with passion and precision. We maintain extraordinarily high musical standards and we’ve got the medals to prove it!

An Inclusive, and Passionate Singing Community

Carolina Harmony Chorus is made up of passionate singers aged 20 to 85, coming from cities across North Carolina - including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Wilmington, and Greenville. Our members come from many musical and professional backgrounds, but we all share a deep love of a cappella vocal music and barbershop harmony.

We’re committed to musical growth, fun, and community - and we have a blast every step of the way.

Internationally Recognized Sweet Adelines Chorus

We are active competitors in Sweet Adelines regional and international competitions. Our honors include:

  • 2023, 2016, 2013 International Small Chorus Champions

  • 2022 Region 14 Chorus Champions

  • 2010, 2018 International Second Place Medalists

High-Quality Barbershop Harmony Performances

Carolina Harmony performs throughout the Triangle at public concerts, local festivals, retirement communities, private events, and charity fundraisers. Our diverse repertoire includes traditional barbershop ballads, uptunes, and crowd-pleasing favorites from jazz, pop, and rock and roll.
